The thing with Tennis and Golf Players is that they have to be careful with their emotions, because they play a “refined” sport. If they show too much emotion they’re labeled a diva, or a manchild like McEnroe. Don’t show enough and they don’t have the passion for the game. I think Federer shows enough emotion when necessary. When he plays well, understandably not much emotion is shown. But in the Finals, he shows plenty. Let’s not forget Sampras was accused of playing robot-like when he was in his prime as well.

My vote is for Sampras. Sadly, he already stated that the Swiss is the best of all. Too sad to see someone with so little charisma and emotions about the game being the greatest of all… Congratulations, King Roger, for your achievements, and there is surely more to come.

I really wish Federer would have won his record tying 14th Grand Slam title against Nadal, but in any case, he finally won his elusive French Open title. In my humble opinion, Federer is the best of all-time.
