Editor’s Note: Eli proved me an idiot when he won the Super Bowl
He’s not even that good of a Quarterback. He’s not going to turn it around. Everyone keeps saying he’s part of Football’s first family. It runs in his blood. His brother is a Hall of Fame QB. His father was a great QB. His father was not a good QB. Look at these stats:Archie Manning
When he was the Saints QB they NEVER won a Division title. Never! Looks more like a crappy QB to me.
Eli Manning has bad mechanics. He makes terrible decisions. That game against the Eagles when he lead them to 17 point 4th QTR comeback, pretty much all the big throws he made were luck. They just as easily could have gone the other way. He improved last season because the Giants got Burress. He started throwing to Burress and Shockey a lot. Those guys are huge. I could hit them 80 percent of the time.
Eli might eventually become a Good QB, or even a Great one, but not because he deserves to. Because he’s been given a lot more chances then other NFL Qbs based on his name, and a lot more than he deserves. You give Kyle Orton that many chances he becomes a better QB. He has better mechanics .
